Chel ~ I've been reading your blog and crying for your pain and for all of us who can so relate to the black fog that can envelop so easily. I've wrestled with depression forever and my son was just diagnosed as bipolar. I'm finding relief for my own pain in a wonderful group of caring men & women through Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families, as well as, personal counseling. I've written a couple of posts on my blog and am willing to share, switch links, etc.
God bless you for the very courageous way you are opening up to the world.
Love -
Crystal

Chel,
Thank you again for starting this blog. I went to the link you posted. It is wonderful!
I think if I had read it last year I might not have gone into the hospital. The hard thing for me (and perhaps others considering suicide) is that I had sunk so low for so long, I had no one to call.
Thankfully I am not actively suicidal now. However, I have still not found someone other than my husband to call. I did not even call him last year before I went to the hospital, that is how low I was.
Feeling safe and making connections are my most difficult challenges. You are helping so much by sharing your story and the knowledge you have.
Thank You,
Helen
