Carla Naron is the Spirit of ZNE!

Carla Naron is a well known, generous and inspirational artist.  Aside from her family - no doubt - one of Carla's crowning acheivements is the art group she started, Collage Cats.  "In July of 2002 I got a wild hair and started a group. I told a couple of friends, and they told a couple of friends, then the next thing I know it's 4 years later and we have 1500+ members!"

Carla - who is affectionately known as Miz Carla to her fellow artists, lives in Louisiana with her husband, cats, and two children.  She is a multitalented artist who excels in collage, assemblage, and photography as well.  Carla is known to reach out to artists in need, and ZNEer JoAnnA Peirotti recently recieved a gorgeous piece of artwork from Carla, encouraging JoAnnA to keep her spirits up while she battles breast cancer.  Carla originally found out about ZNE through her friend and ZNE Founding Member, Stacie Rife.  Thanks for sending Carla our way, Stacie!

It's funny because just a couple of days ago I was really going through everything on the ZNE site and thinking to myself that I would like to become more involved. Please let me know if I could donate a piece of art for one of your drawings--or anything else you may need.
