Kristin Hubick is The Spirit of ZNE!

Kristin Hubick is an American Artist living in Indiana.  She is in the Fondante tier of membership in ZNE, as she has been not only a member but a moderator for the group since its very first days.  She also has the dubious distinction of being the artist who sold Chel (the founder of ZNE) her very first ACEO, thus ensuring Chel's future addition to Artist Trading Cards!  Kristin is well loved by, well, just about everyone who meets her.  She is well known for being thoughtful, considerate, and positive in all her dealings.  In addition to being a professional artist, Kris works as an occupational therapist.  She calls the big city of Indianapolis home, and you can find her art locally at The Studio School and Art Gallery.

Kris has many artistic influences.  You will often find her brother Bill's nature photography images incorporated in her artwork, in example the bird in the art doll shown above.  Kris is also a huge fan of the artist and writer SARK.  Kris's ultimate dream is to one day own a huge art studio and gallery.  As far as ZNE is concerned, having Kris as a member is a dream come true!

In September of 2006, Kris visited California and along with fellow ZNE Fondante member JoAnnA Pierotti, stayed with ZNE founder Chel Stroud Hery for a few days.  Above, is a picture of the three of them after an outing to (gasp) get tattoos, in Berkeley, California.  From Left to right, JoAnnA got a flower on her ankle, Kris added a butterfly to her ankle, and left - Chel got some cherries on her upper arm.

ZNE would not be the group that it is today, without the contributions of Kristin Hubick. Kristin has been a group moderator helping to steer the overall direction of the group since the first day the group began.  Kristin has been a member of ZNE since May of 2005.

I have to say I'm so lucky to count Kristin not only a woderful friend, but a wonderful moderator at ZNE....and I'm also LUCKY to own some of her beautiful art too!!!
