She loves creating, and frequently works on altered jewelry, wearable art, collage, and assemblage pieces. She is also a writer, and is having her first book of stories published in the very near future. In terms of visual arts, she particularly likes color and glitz, and counts Gustav Klimt as a favorite artist due to his colorful compositions. Lou Stiverson sells on eBay under the id true-lou. Lou Stiverson says that as a child, she "loved to cut out paper dolls and create vignettes with cut outs from all types of printed matter," so continuing on to altered art dolls and paper arts of all kinds is a natural progression for her.
