Nici Derosier is the Spirit of ZNE!
"My work is inspired by the brave & colorful wild-child souls that dwell somewhere in each of us!" - Nici DeRosier
Nici Derosier is an American artist who hails from Connecticutt. She was first referred to ZNE by fellow member Chrysti of Altered Abbey / Covet Me fame. We sure are glad Nici found her way here!
Along with being an extraordinary artist, Nici is an extraordinary mother to three wonderful children. Of her three sons, one has Ausperger's Syndrome (a form of Autism) and another has bipolar disorder and ADHD. Nici's life is dedicated to meeting the needs of her children, making their lives a better place, and making others aware that all of our lives are better when we recognize and support children (and adults) with similar disorders. The profits from the sales of her artwork go towards therapies for her children.
Nici's artwork is incedibly varied. She is a talented assemblage artist, painter, jewelry maker, photographer, and collage artist. Viewing her website gallery will provide you with a wonderful glimpse into her life, and artistic mind.
Nici has a website, Art Shaped World, which you can view - here.
You can read Nici's Art Shaped World Blog - here.
You can reach Nici's Artella Shoppe here.
She also has a Cafe Press shop, here.
And you can find her on etsy, here.

OH Nici!! I love the piece of your work featured!! You have a beautiful smile too!! And I send my HUGS and blessings your way for being such a dedicated and wonderful mother to your kids. Being the mother of 2 kids with ADHD and the wife of a ADHD DH I know it can be a challenge at times. I also grew up with a mother that has bi-polar disorder as well. Keep creating...it makes life brighter and happier for everyone involved!!
