Patricia Hartnett is an American artist living in Virginia. She is multi-talented and her skill in working with paints and mixed media is immediately evident upon viewing her artwork. Like so many ZNE artists, Patricia says she discovered her passion for art early in her childhood. A particularly curious and adventurous artist, she says "at 5 years old, I drew pictures on the front porch cement floor with lighter fluid and lit the shapes again and again. I loved the patterns the fire left behind…until a neighbor alerted my mother." Although it sounds like an utterly fascinating artform, we sure are glad that Patricia has lived to tell the story!
