Verlene is an extraordinary artist and doll maker. She works in many mediums, and particularly enjoys polymer clay - which she has been working with since 1993. Verlene is entirely self taught and says that trying to watch or imitate other artists only confuses her. Luckily, her own work shows a decided lack of confusion! Her art feature both whimsy and seriousness, and you can see the heartfelt effort and care that has gone into each piece.
