Tracy Blais is a Canadian artist living in British Columbia. She lives with her husband and son, in a city near the sea in a quiet area called Sanaachtan. Tracy has loved altered art since she was a young child, and also counts the ocean, the forest, windstorms, trance, chocolate, sashimi, chai and Earl Grey teas, cozy pyjamas, really good horror books, and computer games among her passions.
Tracy enjoys working in many mediums of altered art, including collage, artist trading cards, and assemblage pieces. She is a member of several art groups including Artchixstudio, Artezinecafe, Alterations, and Thealteredartplace, along with ZNE. Recently, her Birds of Joy piece (shown above) won a monthly theme contest in her Artezinecafe group.
