Tracy Webster is an American Artist, living in Oregon.  She is a dedicated mother to two sons, and a talented artist.  In addition to ZNE, Tracy is a member of numerous art groups and design teams.  Her expertise encompasses flat collage, altered art and assemblage, digital collage, and more.  Tracy is also very generous with her art and art secrets.  She frequently donates her artwork to charity auctions, she also shares her technique on her blog and via her website, Collective Artwerx, so that others can benefit.  Here at ZNE, there is not question as whether or not our group is benefitted, by having Tracy as a member.  Indeed we are!

LaRinda Chapin is The Spirit of ZNE!

Larinda Chapin is an American Artist, living in Idaho.  She is a devoted mother and talented artist who enjoys all forms of arts and crafts.  She is inspired by her family, and her faith.  LaRinda's ZNE Gallery and her etsy store clearly demonstrate her diversity in style in medium.  LaRinda enjoys creating flat collage, paper arts, fiber craft and fabric collage, as well altered jewelery, and more.

CHELISE STROUD HERY

 

   

  Chelise Stroud Hery is The Spirit of ZNE!

Chelise Stroud Hery is an American artist living in Northern California.  Chelise lives with her husband Richard, son and step-daughter - R.J., and Abigail.  She also likens her household to a zoo, as it includes hermit crabs, a (pet!) rat, two dogs, and a cat.  Aside from her family and furry friends, the most remarkable thing about Chelise's home is the fact that it is the headquarters for ZNE.

Chelise is a mixed media artist and her work has been shown in Northern California galleries and shows, and is in collections across the world.  She teaches regular art workshops and as founder of The Pleasanton Craft Mafia and soon to be Pacific Coast Mestieri, you can frequently find her artwork at art and craft fairs and trunk shows.  She is also the founder of the indie arts website, Indie-O-Rama.  However, Chelise is the first to point out that her real "art" lies in managing the administration of the group she founded, variaZioNE (ZNE).  Since its inception, ZNE has grown into the world's largest online art group specifically focused on mixed media art and artisans.  With over 1,000 members hailing from nearly every continent ~ the group truly is Chelise's passion, and greatest pride.

PAM PETERS

Pam Peters is The Spirit of ZNE!

Pam Peters is an American Artist living in Montana.  Pam is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother - and she is also a passionate artist.  She first studied art in high school, but did not seriously pursue it until well into her adult life, following several careers and motherhood.  Pam re-entered the artworld by studying watercolor and painting techniques.  "When I decided to paint again, I studied watercolor at the Glassel School of Art in Houston, Texas," she says.  She has been painting ever since and has expanded her palette to include all forms of altered art including assemblage, collage, and altered jewelry.  Whatever it is that Pam creates, here at ZNE we are always excited to see her creations!

VALERIE LAWLESS

Valerie Lawless is The Spirit of ZNE!

"I enjoy creating art pieces that are happy, hopeful, lively and innocent. I believe that all people are basically good and all deserve love and hope." - Val Lawless

Valerie Lawless is Russian artist.  Having grown up in The Soviet Union, she now lives in the United States, in Oklahoma.  Valerie counts her years in Russia as both good and bad.  Focusing on the positive, " I was submersed in the fine arts, works of modern artists, wonderful literature and the rich Russian history," she says. 

"Art was a compulsory subject in my school. Many kids hated it, but I could not get enough of it. When I became a teenager, my need to create became overwhelming. My best friend, a professional artist, suggested she would share some of her skills with me if I would teach her how to speak English. I was hooked ever since."

MIRANDA SULLIVAN

Miranda Sullivan is The Spirit of ZNE!

"I was invited to join an amazing art group, ZNE.  It opened more doors and possibilities to me than I could have imagined and I made many lifelong friends through this group." - Miranda Sullivan

Miranda Sullivan is an American Artist.  Originally living in Mississippi, she now resides in Tennessee.  She is a talented artist who is equally adept at creating flat collage and artist trading cards as she is at altering objects.  She also enjoys working with both vintage and more modern images.

Miranda works, is in college, and is an artist and active art community member.  During the school year her focus is her studies, but she still finds time to contribute to many artist groups, including having started her own group that focuses on Christmas related art and product.  She has been very active in ZNE over the past several years, serving on several committees, and will soon be taking over as coordinator of the ZNE Ephemera Hera program.  Here at ZNE, we are extremely grateful for everything Miranda contributes to our group!

AMANDA CADORET

Amanda Cadoret is The Spirit of ZNE!

Amanda Cadoret is a European artist living in The United Kingdom.  She is a talented artist with an eye for the whimsical, as is demonstrated on the card above.   She enjoys creating both flat collage, altered art, and Artist Trading Cards (or ACEOs).  Amanda is adept at using various elements in her work, and enjoys adding three dimensional embellishments to flat collage. You will often find rhinestones and other items in her artwork.  We can't wait to see what she has to offer next!

Ruby Cross is the Spirit of ZNE!

"I feel like I’ve discovered a whole new, creative world!" - Ruby Cross

Ruby Cross is an American Artist, living in Texas. Ruby is married ans shares her home with three chihuahuas.  She is also a proud grandmother to three grandchildren.  She is a retired marketing executive who always found that being creative was fulfilling challenge.  She has been a lifelong painter and afte rher etirement she began to also experiment with other forms of art and mixed media.  "I enjoy collage art, altered art, especially dominos, card art and creating unique jewelry," she says.

Sally Jordon is The Spirit of ZNE!

Sally Jordon is an American Artist, living in New York.  She counts among her favorite things, her animals, art, junking, antiques and living in beautiful central New York state.  She also enjoys buying and reselling vintage items and antiques.  Finally, Sally has a passion for altered art and uses many of vintage finds and photographs to create one of a kind assemblage sculptures, altered antique photos, jewelry and other "strange and wonderful creations."  You can find one of those strange and wonderful creations, above!

MELISSA SEIGFRIED

Melissa Seigfried is The Spirit of ZNE!

Melissa Siegfried is an American Artist, living in Pennsylvania.  She is married with two children, and devoted to her family.  In addition, Melissa is a long time crafter and aftist.  Melissa has been creating primitive and folk art for many years, and more recently began working in all forms of altered art, as well.  She is equally adept at working with vintage images and with more modern embellishments - as exhibited by the lovely piece above which incorporates fibers, vintage photography, and magazine collage as well.  Melissa is a very active member of ZNE.  She participates regularly in ZNE Talk, has entered and won a past ZNE Recipez contest, and is a member of The ZNE Book Club.  We are delighted and thankful for all her contributions to our group.
