Valerie Lawless is The Spirit of ZNE!

Valerie Lawless is Russian artist. Having grown up in The Soviet Union, she now lives in the United States, in Oklahoma. Valerie counts her years in Russia as both good and bad. Focusing on the positive, " I was submersed in the fine arts, works of modern artists, wonderful literature and the rich Russian history," she says.
"Art was a compulsory subject in my school. Many kids hated it, but I could not get enough of it. When I became a teenager, my need to create became overwhelming. My best friend, a professional artist, suggested she would share some of her skills with me if I would teach her how to speak English. I was hooked ever since."
ZNE is thrilled that Val Lawless has been a member of ZNE since August of 2006.
