Fly Angel - Danita Raulerson - ITEM 91
I want to spread my wings and fly into the dark blue midnight sky, to soar amongst the stars and moon and see this world from a different view...
- Taken from a poem - Fly to Where the Angels Sing - written by Danita Raulerson, who also created the artwork up for auction - shown below.
Description: This gorgeous collage was created by the artist Danita Raulerson. This piece is a 4 x 4 chunky canvas. The canvas can be hung on the wall or placed on a flat surface, like a dresser or desk.
The square metal embellishment on the artwork reads:
"A mother's love never fails."
The canvas is handpainted with many emerald colors and dusted with gold. The woman's image is printed on image paper, and enhanced with paint. If you look closely, you'll see the necklace is painted gold too...with a teeny-tiny brush. The wings are handmade of copper, and are also painted and embellished with crystals. Finishing the piece is a real pressed flower and a metal medallion.
