Here, we will keep a running tally of our costs and contributions related to this effort.
There are three primary areas of expense:
Donation to the Oakland Zoo in conjunction with the permanent installation of the mosaic:
$5,000
Cost of labor and materials for a permanent, outdoor, weather resistant mosaic sculpture:
$3,000
Additional promotional and admin expenses are estimated at $50 - $100 per month over the course of the next year. ZNE will underwrite this expense until such time as the principal expenses are met.

Cash donations or sales that generate cash for the HSAS project will be divided among the Zoo donation and mosaic expense, unless a donor requests otherwise.
