I'll be vending at Art, Paperie & Pleasantries next weekend. It's being held at the Alameda County Fair Building in Pleasnaton, CA. You can find more details here.

There will be lots of vendors, live music, book signings, make & take classes, coloring table for the kiddies and lots of pretties to buy! ZNE Design Team members Pam Carriker, Donna Cook, and Julee Herrmann will be teaching make and take classes, and Chel willl be taking lots of new art, and The ZNE Store will have TONS of vintage and new art supplies, dolls, paperie, vintage doll clothes and miniatures, and more!

All the sparkly goodness happens Saturday May 2 & Sunday May 3, 2009 Noon - 5:00 p.m. both days, $3 admission, but get the dollar off coupon on the website.

Ann Butler's SISIS Response

Way back in March 2008, Ann Butler selected this lovely piece by Suzanne Glazier as one of her See It Say It Saturday Selections. The Design Team members were to pick 4 pieces of work by ZNE members that are posted in the ZNE Gallery. Team members were challenged to create a "response" to the work.

Featured below is Ann's work. Ann used "Makin's Air Dry Polymer Clay" for the base of the ART and Face. The art has "Perfect Pearls" blended onto it.

Pam Carriker - Featured Artist

Be sure you check out the August-September 2008 issue of Stamper's Sampler. Our Pam Carriker is the Guest Artist of the month. Sign up for ZNE Convenzione 2009 and you can participate with Pam in Regalo Per Me, Make and Take Session. You will learn how to make an ATC using acrylics, graphite pencils, collage and rubber stamps, as featured in a recent Cloth, Paper Scissors article about Pam's art.

Pam Carriker - Cloth Paper Scissors
