Off to a good start!
Well, Monday hasn't been such a bad day after all!
First off, I dragged my Blythe doll along with me to the South Bay Soiree yesterday, which was great fun. (Hmmm, she insisted on coming, might be a better way to put it!) - you can read all about that , and see her fabulous photo shoot - on my dollie blog:
Speaking of The South Bay Soiree, we had a great time! Here's a picture of some of my Craft Mafia family gathered together for the fun:
Also, a ZNE Member and one of my art workshop participants, Darcy Hammond, stopped by - I always love it when ZNE members show up here and there, so I snapped a quick pic:
And, I am so excited! I found a fun blog a while ago, when I started my writing blog - Top Blog Mag. In brief, (and taken from their own description): "Published every Monday, Top Blog Mag is a magazine format blog written by you - the bloggers."
If you contact them and tell them you want to be a writer, then, after a bit, they will contact you with a topic. When a topic to write on finally came my way - it was: How Embarrassing.
Ha! It was as if it chosen just for me! I whipped up a quick essay about my health woes, and submitted it.
Imagine my shock this morning when this week's issue of Top Blog Mag was published, and my essay was chosen as the featured story, and hence blog!
I am totally excited! So, my little writing blog is basking in pride this morning. A wonderful Monday suprise!
I have lots more news - the fabulous Glenda Bailey is featured on Spirito Di ZNE today, and that's lovely. We'll have an update on The ZNE Book Club blog today, and on Wednesday, The Book Club will have its first assignment related to this month's book by Claudine Hellmuth. The Pleasanton Craft Mafia blog is up and running and updated daily! Later today we'll have a member spotlight on the incredible Joanna Crawshaw! Also, later today, a ZNE etsy Street Team update, that will include some wonderful donations from the fabulous Teresa Yates - wait until you see them!
Still on the way, the June issue of the ZNE Scene, and all the Vintage VIctorian Style Try updates. A few days late, but on their way.
As usual, things are really jumping, here in the Land of ZNE. Thanks for taking a minute to stop by!
xoxo - Chel

It's at the post office but I don't have it yet. The tracking info probably lets you know that they have given me the pick up slip. I am so excited! I absolutely can't wait to pick it up!!!
